Make cool art from stuff you typically toss in the trash!
Back by popular demand...Pensacola Junior College offers a free series of Friday workshops that let you play with junk to make art.
Workshops are 2 to 6 p.m. in Building 4, room 266, on the Pensacola campus. The schedule: Oct. 23, Anything Goes!; Nov. 6, Altering T-shirts with Sandra Vick; Nov. 20 , Anything Goes!; Dec. 4, Christmas Gifts.
Bring small junk to add to the junk pile – any cleaned, found trash and junk. Toss your finds in with others or work from your own treasure pile.
Supplies not included. Bring basic tools to cut, glue, tape, wire, etc., to shape your art.
Come play! Invite family, friends and neighbors.
The series is sponsored by PJC’s Environmental & Economic Sustainability Project. For more information, contact Jennifer O’Leary at 484-1434, joleary@pjc.edu. |
